MY STORY: 'I was raped as a child'

Zimbabwean Blessings Siziba was raped at the age of 6. 

But it took her years to discover this. 


The young girl blocked the memory of the ordeal until it all resurfaced in therapy when she was 18 years old.


This is her story. 


Siziba was also physically and verbally abused by her grandfather at the age of ten. 


She says he often told her she was useless and that she will not amount to anything in life.
