N4 Toll Route upgrade to start in July
Updated | By Nokukhanya Mntambo
The N4 toll route between the OR Tambo Interchange and the Van Dyksdrift Interchange is set for major rehabilitation and expansion works that will start in July.

The R300 million project is expected to take 18 months to complete and will entail the removal and replacement of failed concrete slabs.
Trans African Concessions (TRAC) spokesperson, Solange Nicholson, says an additional seven kilometres of passing lanes will be constructed in the area.
"TRAC will do everything in its power not to affect traffic flow in the area. Lane reductions and deviations will be in effect."
Nicholson adds that minor traffic disruptions can be expected along the route.
