Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni says the national government has the responsibility to support the provincial government.

This as President Cyril Ramaphosa is leading his cabinet on the first intergovernmental engagements in Limpopo province on Friday.
The series of engagements with all provinces aims to enhance coordination between national and provincial government spheres in ensuring service delivery.
Briefing members of the media at Jack Botes hall in Polokwane, Minister Ntshavheni said water crisis in Limpopo province will form part of the agenda.
"The province is not the water authority - is the district municipality uphold by the Department of Water and Sanitation.
"So, we need to agree to say what are the interventions that we make to enable the provincial government as they render services to be able to get on top of the water situation," she says.
She says they are also going discuss on how to develop the economy of the province as well as getting them ready for G20.
"Most importantly, as we take forward our role of a chairperson of the G20, Limpopo and all other provinces will be hosting the G20.
"We want to see how do we help the province in terms of getting them ready to showcase their province during that G20 and the hosting."
Ramaphosa and his cabinet will meet the provincial executive of KwaZulu Natal next week.
