Nehawu demands better security for Limpopo doctors
Updated | By Neo Motloung
The National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union
(Nehawu) has called on the department of health in Limpopo to beef up security
at its hospitals.

This comes after two female and one male doctor were shot and wounded in what police suspect was a robbery at their residences next to the Letaba Hospital in Limpopo on Thursday morning.
Nehawu spokesperson in the province, Jacob Adams, says it is unacceptable that doctors are attacked while doing their work.
"The department of health, particularly at the national level and the police, must assist in setting up security measures in our health institutions," says Adams.
Adams adds this is not the first-time staff members have been attacked at the hospital.
