Nepal quake death toll rises to 5,057

The death toll from a devastating earthquake in Nepal has risen to 5,057, the home ministry's national disaster management division said on Tuesday.

More than 10,000 people are now known to have been injured in Saturday's 7.8-magnitude quake, the division's chief Rameshwor Dangal told AFP.
