New Covid-19 cases rise by over 10 000, 190 new deaths

The number of Covid-19 cases in South Africa now stands at 2 533 466.
The National Institute for Communicable Diseases said on Sunday evening that 10 008 new coronavirus cases had been recorded since its previous report.
This represents a 22,8% positivity rate.
There are currently 160 679 active Covid-19 cases in the country
The death toll has climbed to 74 813, with 190 new coronavirus-related deaths reported.
By Sunday evening, close to 8.6 million vaccines had been administered nationwide.
