The number of Covid-19 cases in South Africa now stands at 3 579 428.

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) said on Saturday evening that 3 049 new coronavirus cases had been recorded since its previous report.
The majority of new cases are from Gauteng (25%), followed by the Western Cape (19%) and Kwa-Zulu Natal (15%).
The death toll has climbed to 94 063, with 114 new deaths reported, of which 13 occurred in the past 24-48 hours.
The Department of Health says this backlog in Covid-19 deaths reported is due to its ongoing audit exercise.
The country's recovery rate now stands at 95.1 % with 79 652 active cases nationwide.
Over 22 000 vaccine doses were administered over the past 24 hours.
