The mother relived the gruesome events of the day, telling the court how Ninow attempted to flush the victim's clothes down the toilet.
The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to rape, possession of drugs and defeating the ends of justice at the start of the trial. He was convicted on all three counts, with the exception of assault.
In handing down judgment Judge Papi Mosopa said the child, who testified in-camera, told the court she heard her mother calling but did not respond, because the man with her in the toilet had threatened to kill her.
