Nine killed in two Mpumalanga crashes
It is understood that the driver of a car overtook another on a curve and collided with second car which was driving in the opposite direction.
Four women and two men were killed on the R38 road between Kaapmuiden and Barberton in Mpumalanga on Thursday night.

"The deceased, two males and four females, died at the scene and they include both drivers. Three people who sustained serious injuries were rushed to a nearby hospital in Mbombela for medical treatment." said Mpumalanga Community Safety spokesperson Moeti Mmusi.
In another crash, three people including a child were killed after the vehicle they were travelling in lost control and overturned on N4 toll road near Emalahleni on Friday morning.
