No change in petrol price
The price of petrol will remain the same but the diesel price will go down, the energy department said on Friday.
Diesel of 0.05 percent sulphur will decrease by 5.6 cents per litre, while diesel of 0.005 percent sulphur will decrease by 4.6 cents a litre, the department said in a statement.
The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will decrease by seven cents a litre.
The price adjustments would take effect on Wednesday.
