The Gauteng Department of Education has again postponed learning at the Vanderbiljpark school until Monday.

The department’s Steve Mabona says the resolution was taken at a meeting with parents on Tuesday.
"We can confirm that the school will resume on Monday next week, just to take the learners through reintegration of the schooling environment. You will understand that these learners still need counselling,”

Learning at the school was suspended on Friday, after a fatal bridge collapse on the school's premises which claimed the lives of four pupils.
Mabona says memorial and funeral services have also been finalised.
Meanwhile, the department says it is working on a school catch-up plan.
"The school has received assistance of temporary classrooms.
"The school will be allowed to utilise parts of the school premises in phases, as per the guidance of the Department of Labour," says Mabona.
