'No decision to remove Jacob Zuma' - ANC
Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
The African National Congress (ANC) says no decision has been taken to remove President Jacob Zuma ahead of the 2019 general elections.

This comes after reports at the weekend that the ANC's National Executive Committee was discussing a smooth exit for Zuma at the party's Lekgotla.
The party's secretary general Ace Magashule addressed the reports at a press briefing on Monday.
"The matter is with ANC officials because it's a matter of interaction. President Zuma and (ANC) President Ramaphosa are discussing the coordination between the party and government. And that is where the matter is. There isn't any decision taken to remove President Zuma as some say on social media," Magashule told journalists.
When asked whether the NEC discussed Zuma's exit at all, Magashule says officials are still in discussions.
"I am saying the NEC discussed this matter, and we all agreed that this matter is with the officials and there will be interactions between officials, President Zuma and President Ramaphosa. And there are no timelines, we can't put timelines," says Magashule.
He appealed for space and time for the ANC to deal with its own matters.
