No load shedding today, says Eskom
Updated | By MornéJK jk
There were no power cuts on Friday morning, as Eskom said the electricity system was stable.
“The power system is currently stable, and this will enable Eskom to perform maintenance without load shedding,” the power utility said.
However, Eskom said the power system was expected to be constrained throughout the day because of increased electricity demand.
“As we are currently experiencing cold weather conditions across the country, we urge electricity users to consider energy efficient ways of keeping warm.”
