No rolling blackouts during Tuesday morning traffic: Eskom

Eskom will suspend stage 1 load shedding between 6 am until 9 am on Tuesday to ease the pressure on South African motorists during rush hour traffic.

Eskom said last week that it would aim to suspend load shedding during peak traffic hours in the morning and evening, but will only be able to do it should the system allow.

The power utility says it will provide a prognosis on Tuesday as the system remains vulnerable.
