Nomvula Mokonyane's husband passes away
The husband of Minister of Environmental Affairs, Nomvula Mokonyan, died in hospital on Thursday morning.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr Serge Mokonyane, husband to Minister of Environmental Affairs, Nomvula Mokonyane, at a Johannesburg hospital this morning.

Mokonyane's spokesperson, Mlimandlela Ndamase, says in a brief statement that Serge Mokonyane had been hospitalised last month.
"The family will in due course communicate details pertaining to the funeral and any other memorial events and services," says Ndamase.
President Cyril Ramaphosa tweeted his condolences to the minister.
