Norma, Malusi Gigaba expected to air dirty laundry at state capture commission on Friday

The estranged Gigaba couple are set to face off against each other at the commission of inquiry into state capture.
Norma Mngoma, who is the wife of former cabinet minister Malusi Gigaba, will give testimony at the Zondo commission on Friday.
In a previous highly publicised interview, Mngoma vowed to lift the lid on her estranged husband’s alleged dirty dealings with the Gupta family.
Mngoma alleges that while Gigaba was a sitting minister, they made a number of trips to the Saxonwold compound where the infamous Gupta brothers handed him stacks of money stashed in duffle bags.
The contents of these “secret” meetings may well be the subject of Mngoma’s testimony.
The state capture commission also confirmed that it will hear Malusi Gigaba’s application for leave to cross-examine Mngoma.
Former public enterprises minister Lynne Brown is also expected to give testimony related to Denel, while former state security minister David Mahlobo is expected to give testimony on his portfolio.
