A 17-year old high school student from an area near Delareyville has allegedly been killed by a group of learners.
Police in the North West are investigating a case of murder after violence erupted in the Geysdorp area.
Captain Sam Tselanyane says a feud between two groups of learners led to the death of the pupil.
"It is alleged that a feud ensued between two groups of learners at Geysdorp Secondary School on Tuesday, 03 September 2019. Consequent to intervention by educators, the groups, made up of leaners from Madibogo village and Geysdorp, separated," says Tselenyane.

However, he says the group of learners from Madibogo allegedly then mobalised other learners from the village, armed themselves with weapons and went to Geysdrop Secondary School where they forced entry into the premises.
He says the deceased learner and his friends fled the school and the other group followed.
Tseleyane says the pupil died from multiple stab wounds.
