The 7-year-old rape victim in the Nicholas Ninow case is expected to testify in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Wednesday morning.
This follows an admission of guilt from Ninow, in which he details raping the 7-year-old in the bathroom of the Dros restaurant in Silverton in September 2018.

Social activist movement, #NotInMyName, believes Ninow's admission of guilt should exonerate the minor from testifying.
Spokesperson, Themba Masango, says it is very irresponsible for the court system to expect the victim to recall the details of the horror.
"We are against the court's decision to let the child take a stand, given the detailed description of Ninow's confession and guilty plea, we find it unnecessary"

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says the minor's testimony is essential in assuring that Ninow receives a harsh sentence.
The young girl is said to testify through CCTV and be assisted by two court preparation officials.
