NPA: Ninow found in possession of CAT
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed the type of drug rape accused Nicholas Ninow was found to be in possession of during his arrest.

Test have confirmed that Ninow was in possession of CAT during the arrest in September last year.
Ninow allegedly raped a seven-year-old girl in the men's toilet of a Dros restaurant in Silverton, Pretoria.
"During the arrest of Mr. Nicholas Ninow police discovered a white substance in powder form which was then taken for forensic test and such tests relieved that the white substance was in fact a drug called CAT," says NPA spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwane.
Ninow is spending his first night in the Westkoppies Psychiatric Hospital on Wednesday after the Pretoria Magistrates Court order that he be sent for assessment for 30 days.
He will be assessed by a team of four health professionals, three psychiatrists and one psychologist.
Ninow is yet to proclaim his innocence or guilt.
Ninow is set to be back in court on February 8.
