NPA set to withdraw corruption charges against Duduzane Zuma
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Duduzane Zuma is set to appear in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Johannesburg on Thursday, amid reports that the charges of corruption against him will be provisionally dropped.
Former president Jacob Zuma's son was granted bail of R100 000 after appearing in court in July.
He was charged with corruption for the alleged role he played in attempting to bribe former deputy finance minister Mcebisi Jonas at the Guptas' Saxonwold home in 2015.

The NPA’s spokesperson in Gauteng, Phindi Mjonodwane, has refused to confirm that the charges would be dropped.
"Matter is in court tomorrow and only after that appearance will the NPA be in a position to comment," she says.
Duduzane's lawyers have also not been available for comment.
According to reports, the NPA sent a letter to Duduzane's lawyers on Tuesday, notifying them of the provisional withdrawal of the charges.
This is apparently due to the fact that Jonas’ testimony at the commission of inquiry into state capture is yet to be completed.
