A radiant Ntandoyenkosi Kunene woke up this morning as Miss South Africa 2016 to a busy schedule.

Aside from media interviews she also received the keys to her new vehicle as well as her prize package that includes cash, a luxury skiing holiday and products together valued at more than R2 million. 


She also gets thousands of rands in cash and study bursaries to award to South Africans that she meets during her reign.

 

Kunene - a 23-year-old education honours student from Mpumalanga who was studying at Wits when she took the title - was crowned Miss South Africa 2016 at a glittering ceremony held at Carnival City on Saturday.

Her parents, Christopher and Baby Kunene, were on hand to celebrate with their daughter.

 

Runners-up were Elizabeth Molapo from the Freestate (1st Princess) and Tayla Skye Robinson from Gauteng (2nd Princess).
