One dead after bus accident
One person died and several others were injured after a luxury passenger bus rear-ended a truck on the N3 in Cornelia in the Fee State on Thursday morning.
According to NetCare 911 paramedics, they arrived on the scene and found the road littered with debris and the twisted frames of the vehicles.
"After triaging it was found that one passenger tragically died, two people were critically injured while seventy others sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor," NetCare 911 said.
Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
The exact cause of the accident is being investigated.
