One dead, dozens injured in train collision

One person has died and more than 60 people injured after two Metrorail trains collided in Elandsfontein.
The commuter rail service operator says all train services between Pretoria and Johannesburg have been suspended.
Metrorail Gauteng spokesperson Tony Games says: "One commuter was declared dead on scene and 65 were injured."
He says a bus shuttle service has been introduced between Kempton Park and Germiston.
The two trains collided early this morning on Gauteng's east rand - affecting the peak hour commute.
Games says details around the crash are still sketchy.
Major delays can be expected.
"These are our major corridors where we transport high volumes of commuters," he says.
Metrorail is trying to restore at least one of the railway lines in an effort to minimise delays.
