One dead, three injured in Durban taxi hit-and-run
Updated | By ANA
One pedestrian died and three were injured when they were hit by a minibus taxi in Wiggins Road in Cato Manor, Durban, late on Saturday night, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.

Rescue Care spokesman Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived on the scene to find that four pedestrians had been hit while they were walking on the side of the road.
“The alleged vehicle then fled the scene. Paramedics assessed the injured and found that a male in his 20s had sustained critical injuries and had passed away before paramedics could arrive. He was declared deceased at the scene. Three other pedestrians were found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.”
Police were investigating, he said.
