One injured in Cresta mall shooting
ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak confirmed to Sapa that there had been a shooting.
"When the paramedics arrived, they found one person shot through the arm. That person was taken to hospital.
"They [the paramedics] couldn't find any other injured at the scene but people were in shock," said Vermaak.
Police were on the scene when paramedics arrived but were not immediately reachable by phone for comment.
