One person injured in Lanseria aircraft crash

A light aircraft crashed near Lanseria International Airport in Johannesburg on Friday morning.

Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said paramedics responded to the scene just after 10am.
"On arrival on scene the wreckage of small aircraft was found in a field. The pilot and only occupant was found on scene and treated for moderate injuries."
The South African Civil Aviation (CAA) is investigating the cause of the crash.
