One person killed in Durban crash

Spokesman Robert Mckenzie said reports from the scene were that one person was killed and another was critically injured.

 

“Seven other patients, including a six-week-old baby, who were occupants of the minibus have also been injured,” he said.

 

“The baby had sustained minor injuries, while the other occupants of the minibus had sustained serious injuries.”

 

Mckenzie said the patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment and the critically injured patient was airlifted to hospital.

 

The cause of the accident was unknown and would be investigated, he said. -ANA
