One suspect killed in shooting at KZN councilor's offices

During the shoot-out, one of the suspects was fatally wounded whilst one of the security officials was injured and taken to hospital.
One suspect has been killed in a shoot-out at a KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) councillor's offices on Friday afternoon.
"According to witnesses, three unknown men arrived at the premises requesting assistance," says the police's Jay Naicker.
"There were informed to wait outside. It is alleged that there was an altercation between the suspects and the security officials guarding the premises," he explains.
The suspects are alleged to have pulled out firearms and opened fire at the security officials.

"During the shoot-out, one of the suspects was fatally wounded whilst one of the security officials was injured and taken to hospital," says Naicker.
The two remaining suspects fled the scene taking a firearm of one of the security officials with them.
Police at KwaMashu are investigating charges of attempted murder, armed robbery, and an inquest docket.
