Oscar Pistorius on his stumps in court
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Drama, emotions and tears in the High Court in Pretoria, where Oscar Pistorius showed a fully packed court house, for the first time, how he walks on his stumps.
Barry Roux argued in mitigation of Pistorius' sentence for murder and said it was important for the court to see.
"It is so important that we see what we must see and it's time...it's time for many reason to explain our address to you to see what we should see. For that reason I want the accused to stand there and when I address you on that, on his stumps, that we can have an idea of who the second Oscar was," Roux said.
Roux said Pistorius was very embarrassed, but understood why it had to be done.
