Over 35s in Gauteng can walk in for Covid-19 jabs

The Gauteng Health Department says people over the age of 35 can now walk into vaccination sites to get their jab.
Registrations for the age group begun on Thursday.
"People who are 35 to 49 years old can now get their Covid-19 vaccine at their nearest vaccination site in Gauteng. All public vaccination sites in Gauteng accept walk-ins, whether people are registered on the EVDS system or not, they will be registered and vaccinated, nobody is to be turned away at public vaccinations sites in the province," said spokesperson Kwara Kekana.
Gauteng has over 700 000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 over 600 000 recoveries and just over 14 000 deaths to date.
A total of 9208 people are currently hospitalized.
