Over 50 new Covid-19 related deaths

South Africa has recorded a further 54 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total number of Covid-19 related deaths to 19 465.

Statistics released by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize on Monday also show that 772 new cases of Covid-19 infections have been recorded in one day.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 related cases now stands at 727 595.
The country’s recoveries stand at 657 500, which relates to a recovery rate standing firm on 90%.
