Panayiotou matter postponed in court
Updated | By AlgoaFM
A pre-trial conference in the case involving businessman Christopher Panayiotou lasted only a few minutes in the High Court in Port Elizabeth Monday morning.

The pre-trial was postponed to 15 September after State Prosecutor Marius Stander revealed that co-accused Sizwezakhe Vumazonke was ill and in a coma in Livingstone Hospital.
He did not reveal the nature of Vumazonke's illness.
In July, Panayiotou made his first appearance in the Port Elizabeth High Court alongside 30 year-old co-accused Vumazonke and 28 year-old Sinethemba Nenembe.
A fourth-accused, Zolani Sibeko, was in court today alongside Panayiotou and Nenembe.
He was arrested recently after cellphone mapping placed him in the vicinity of Jayde Panayiotou's murder in April 2015.
A self-confessed middleman, Luthando Siyoni - who claims he arranged the hit - has since turned State witness.
The trial is set to start next month.
