Parts of Soweto still without power

Parts of Soweto have been without power since Sunday evening when a substation caught fire.
Eskom says it is in the process of restoring power to parts of Soweto, including areas around Dlamini and Pimville as well as Jabavu, Mofolo South and White City.
Spokesperson for the power utility in Gauteng Reneiloe Semenya says supply has been restored to Pimville zones 3, 4 and 7.

“We are working on restoring supply to the remaining parts of Dlamini and Pimville as well as Jabavu, Mofolo South & White City.”
Thousands of residents were plunged into darkness on Sunday evening as a result of a fire at a substation.
