'Pay back the money' - Mbalula tells ANC members who profited from VBS
Updated | By Anastasi Mokgobu
ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula says the party has consistently called on anyone who received money from VBS Mutual Bank to return it.

The scandal has left with the ANC with questions to answer, with two of its members in Limpopo accused of receiving money from the collapsed bank appointed as MECs in the new administration.
Florence Radzilani and Nakedi Kekana, who were mayors of the Vhembe District and Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipalities, respectively, oversaw the investment of hundreds of millions of rands of public money into the now-defunct VBS Mutual Bank.
Radzilani is accused of receiving R300,000 from the bank.
Other members accused of receiving money include former Minister of Health Dr Zweli Mkhize and former National Treasury Director-General Dondo Mogajane.
Speaking to the media at the start of the six-day National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Boksburg, Mbalula reiterated that the party urges anyone who benefitted from the bank to pay back the money.
"The ANC has said, and it is still an ANC resolution, that if the ANC got money from the VBS, that money must be returned, including the claims that there was money that was given to Zweli Mkhize.
"He has given us a report on that matter," said Mbalula.
He said individuals who are implicated in the VBS scandal must be charged.
