A pedestrian died when he was knocked over by a car on the M1 north before the Booysens off-ramp in Johannesburg on Saturday morning
Shortly before 11am paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the man, believed to be in his 30s, in the road with fatal injuries, ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.
“Sadly, there was nothing that they could do for him and he was declared dead on the scene. The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries," Vermaak said.
The scene was handed over to the local authorities for further investigation
