ICYMI: Petrol, diesel prices decrease in May
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Motorists can expect some relief at the pumps from Wednesday, after the Department of Energy announced a drop in fuel prices for May.

Both grades of petrol will decrease by 22c per litre, while diesel will decrease by around 40c per litre.
The price of illuminating paraffin will decrease by 41 cents per litre at the wholesale level.
However, LP Gas will increase by 46c per kilogram
"The reason for these adjustments are the lower oil price and weaker Rand against the Dollar during the period under review,"
"The LPG gas prices are increasing due to the higher freight rate or shipping cost during the same period, and the slate levy remained unchanged at 0 cents per litre in the price structures of petrol and diesel," said the Department's spokesperson, Robert Maake.
