PHOTO: 17 injured in taxi accident
Seventeen people were injured in a collision in Roddepoort on Tuesday morning.
According to ER24 the accident happened along Hendrik Potgieter Road and Jim Fouché Roads in Roodepoort.
"The collision involved only one vehicle, a taxi. The taxi allegedly lost control while turning onto Jim Fouché Road and then rolled several times," ER24 said.
Paramedics were at the scene and found that all the injuries ranged from minor to moderate.
Patients were treated and transported to various hospitals.
The cause of the incident remains unknown; all local authorities were in scene for further investigation.
