PHOTOS: Light aircraft crashes in Midrand

Two people were injured during the early hours of this morning when a small aircraft crashed in Midrand.
According to ER 24 paramedics, they arrived on the scene near Kruger Avenue shortly before 4am on Wednesday morning and found a small aircraft lying upside-down in an open veld.
"Two men, believed to be in their early thirties, was found walking around scene. Paramedics assessed them and found that they were lucky to have sustained only minor injuries," ER24 said in a statement.
Both men were transported to Sunninghill Hospital for further assessment while the exact cause of the incident is being investigated by the Civil Aviation Authority.
