[PICS] Hawks bust counterfeit snuff factory in Soweto

The Hawks have busted a counterfeit taxi-snuff facility in Soweto, south-west of Johannesburg.

Spokesperson Philani Nkwalase says an investigation led the Hawks team to a fully-operational facility in Orange Farm.
“The team initially conducted an investigation in Midrand on counterfeit taxi-snuff, which led to a fully operational facility at Drieziek Extension 9 in Orange Farm.

“During the search multiple packets of counterfeit snuff, empty containers, tobacco and other chemicals found were seized for further investigation.”
The suspects will be served with summons to appear in court soon.
