Police seized counterfeit goods to the value of R24-million
in the Johannesburg CBD on Thursday.

The city’s Lucky Sindane says officials raided three buildings in Jeppe Street and discovered 12 storage rooms in the basements.
"The storerooms were used to keep the counterfeit goods.”
He says the goods include footwear, clothes and watches of well-known brands.
"It is essential that we bring back the rule of law in our ciy and take it back from the criminal elements. We are committed to ensuring that we stop the rot in our inner city and make it a prosperous and inclusive place for our people to live work and play," Sindane adds.
