[PICTURES] Fatal truck crash in Limpopo
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Two people have died in a major truck crash on the N1 North near the Bela Bela off-ramp in Limpopo on Thursday morning.
One of the trucks was transporting cars when it drove into another stationary truck.
Limpopo Department of Transport spokesperson Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala says the two deceased were the driver and a passenger in the stationary truck.
He says the injured driver is amongst the patients taken to hospital.
Moremi-Taueatsoala says the northern lanes of the N1 - direction Limpopo - have been closed due to the cars being scattered all over the highway.
Motorists are urged to use the R516 off-ramp until the scene has been cleared.
