May's three-day trip aims to boost post-Brexit trade ties.
She will also return the bell from the troopship Mendi, which sank in the English Channel in 1917 drowning more than 600 mainly South African troops set to join the Allied forces fighting in World War I.
A trip to Robben Island has also been arranged.
In April, Ramaphosa visted the United Kingdom as part of efforts to promote the country as an investment destination.
A UK government spokesperson said that they have invested £50 million "to help South Africa improve its business environment to make it more attractive to investors including in the UK, and ultimately lift some of the poorest people in South Africa out of poverty by creating jobs and opportunities".
