Pinetown's Fields Hill claims more lives
Updated | By Neo Leeuw
Two people died and 13 others were injured in yet another accident in Pinetown's notorious Field's Hill intersection.
Garrith Jamieson of Rescue said in a statement that a total of twenty-three people were injured in the accident on the M13 west-bound just before Village Road around 5pm on Monday afternoon.

The people were killed when a flat-bed truck collided with two taxis.
This is the second accident in the area in as many months, and has caused road users who frequent the route to call for a ban on trucks on the road.

The M13 is notoriously known for the recent truck accident that claimed 23 lives, when a truck ploughed into four minibus taxis at the Field’s Hill intersection.
Last month's accident highlighted the notoriety of the intersection - WARNING: Not for sensitive viewers.
