Pistorius case continues

The murder trial of paralympian Oscar Pistorius will continue in the High Court in Pretoria on Wednesday.

He is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on February 14 last year.
Pistorius claims he mistook her for a burglar.
In the second day of Pistorius's trial, the prosecution called IT designer Charl Johnson, who testified that he and his wife Michelle Burger were woken by piercing cries, followed by gunshots in the early hours of Valentine's Day last year.
Johnson's testimony confirmed in detail what Burger told the court on Monday.
Burger had told the court she heard both a woman and a man call for help, and remained unwavering when Pistorius's lawyer questioned her credibility in hours of cross-examination that the State at one point described as "badgering".
Another witness, neighbour Estelle van der Merwe, told the court she heard loud voices coming from the direction of Pistorius's home on the night of the shooting.
The court adjourned at 3pm on Tuesday. Johnson is expected back on the witness stand on Wednesday morning.
