Planned water interruptions in Joburg
Joburg water released a statement confirming planned water supply interruptions as a result of maintenance work that needs to be carried out.
According to the statement these interruptions were not as a result of technical faults.
The water supplier added that water supply across the City of Johannesburg was normal adding that reservoir levels across the city were in a satisfactory position.
Water supply to the following areas would be interrupted in order for maintenance work to be carried out:
Salisbury Claims (Faraday)
Streets: Stephenson, Trump, Eloff

Restoration: 17:00-18:00
Reason: Tie-in to the existing water main
Morningside Manor
Streets: Satara, Notwani and Palala Place
Start Date: 16 March 2016
Time: 09:00-17:00
Restoration: 17:00-19:00
Reason: Upgrade of reticulation - Pipe replacement
Bryanston
Streets: Davies road
Start Date: 16 March 2016
Time: 09:00-17:00
Restoration: 17:00-18:00
