Plans on track to restore Joburg water supply

running water by Wednesday evening.

Johannesburg residents who have been without water due to major pipe burst could have running water by Wednesday evening.
Joburg Water says they expect to complete repairs by 13:00.
Spokesperson Isaac Dhludhlu says they expect the water supply to be restored by 18:00.
Residents of Sandton, Bryanston, Woodmead, Morningside, Alexander, Linbro Park and surrounding areas have had their taps run dry as a result of the water pipe burst.
Dhludhlu says filling the reservoirs takes a long time.
