A man travelling on a Nigerian passport is expected to appear in the Lephalale Magistrate’s Court on Thursday after packs of cocaine were found hidden inside his vehicle’s steering wheel, Limpopo police said.

The drugs were cocaine worth an estimated R5000 and were hidden in the steering wheel. He was also found in possession of an electronic pocket scale used to weigh drugs,” said spokeswoman Colonel Rotto.
She said police spotted a suspicious car in the Lephalale CBD and stopped it on Wednesday. Sniffer dogs were used in the search which yielded cocaine.
