Updated | By Martine van der Walt Ehlers
Gauteng police are searching for a group of twelve suspects who were involved in a cash-in-transit heist on the N12 in Boskburg Saturday morning.

Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says the robbery took place near the Griffiths off-ramp.
"We are appealing to communities to be on the lookout for two BMWs, a white X5 with registration HY 55 HF GP and a Silver BMW X2 with registration KN 47 KK GP,” says Mathe.
"Police have mobilised maximum resources to trace and apprehend thee heavily armed suspects who fled the scene following the incident."
According to Mathe, the cash van was bombed, and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen by the gang.
