Police open Glenn Agliotti inquest docket

Police in Gauteng have opened an inquest docket following the death of convicted drug dealer Glenn Agliotti.

Agliotti died in hospital on Friday night.
Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says an inquest docket was opened at the Douglasdale police station where the docket was registered.
“A postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”
Agliotti played a central role in the corruption conviction of former national police commissioner Jackie Selebi.
He was also linked to the death of mining magnate Brett Kebble in 2005.
