Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says the gunshots were fired by the loved ones of a fallen taxi driver who was gunned down outside the car dealership on Sunday.

"It alleged that the family of the person that was shot and killed in Kensington last week went to spot where he died to perform a ritual.

"They then started shooting randomly where the body was found.”
