[LISTEN] The moment gunshots were fired at busy Joburg mall

Gauteng police have condemned the shooting of guns in the air at a car dealership in Kensington, Johannesburg.
Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says the gunshots were fired by the loved ones of a fallen taxi driver who was gunned down outside the car dealership on Sunday.
So taxi drivers gathered around the scene of the shooting that was in Bruma/Bedfordview on Sunday & discharged firearms.

"It alleged that the family of the person that was shot and killed in Kensington last week went to spot where he died to perform a ritual.
"They then started shooting randomly where the body was found.”

Police are investigating a case of the discharging of a firearm in a public space.
An eyewitness, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Jacaranda FM News that he heard gunshots near the dealership.
"It seemed to be a taxi funeral, the guys were firing shots in the air."
